Listen - Adam Green & Binki Shapiro - Full Album

Adam Green and Binki Shapiro are two gifted artists with a bi-coastal friendship and a brand new project. Binki Shapiro was one-third of Little Joy, the Brazilian-accented Los Angeles trio formed with Fabrizio Moretti and Rodrigo Amarante that enchanted listeners with its critically acclaimed 2008 album. Adam Green first came to prominence as one-half of the Grammy-winning Moldy Peaches before embarking on a successful and prolific solo career.

What began as an acquaintance, with a mutual appreciation for each other’s music, soon turned serious when an idea was sparked to collaborate on an album of original duets. The result, Adam Green & Binki Shapiro, is deceptively pretty, filled with the echo of late-sixties folk-pop and an easygoing rapport between two captivating singers. These songs have twists and turns that reveal more with repeat listens, as their protagonists unfurl relationship tales with bittersweet recall.

Listen - Rachel Zeffira - The Deserters - Full Album

Rachel Zeffira's debut solo album 'The Deserters' is both beautiful and beguiling - a rapturous tour de force that recalls the baroque pop of John Cale and the hazy experimentation of My Bloody Valentine.

Fans of everyone from Bat For Lashes to The Horrors will find something to enjoy here.

The artwork features photos from celebrated fashion photographer Yuval Hen.

The album was written and produced entirely by Rachel and was recorded at Miloco’s The Pool and Abbey Road Studios alongside engineer Ben Thackeray.

Listen - Christopher Owens - Lysandre - Full Album

After disbanding Girls earlier this year, frontman Christopher Owens returns with his highly anticipated solo album ‘Lysandre’.

Owens describes the record as “A coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story.”

Written almost entirely in one creative outpouring and recorded with former Girls producer Doug Boehm, ‘Lysandre’ follows Owens from San Francisco - where he’s filled with excitement after writing his band’s ‘Album’ - to New York City and on to the French Riviera - where he falls in love with the record’s namesake.

Perfectly framed by intricate instrumentation, gorgeous backing vocals and pristine production, Owens’ enthralling, personal songwriting takes centre stage and delivers a heartbreaking rumination on love, longing, friendship, adventure and the thrill of finding an audience for your art.
